We are seeking an exceptional AP Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will manage and oversee the accounts payable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and internal departments.

Responsibilities
- Process, upload, and code high volumes of invoices using an automated P2P system.
- Maintain and update procurement systems.
- Perform period-end supplier reconciliations.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Manage a portion of creditor ledgers.
- Ensure purchase invoices are accurate, authorized, and matched to purchase orders.
- Handle supplier inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
- Organize fortnightly payment runs.
- Supervise AP functions and periodic payment runs.
- Train and develop AP Clerks.
- Actively chase and respond to creditor-related inquiries from all levels within the organization.
- Perform additional duties as directed by senior finance management.
Requirements
- With 2 or more years of work experience in AP Processing or similar role.
- Having proven experience with global clients is strongly preferred.
- Has previous work experience in companies involved in hospitality or with multisite experience.
- Proficient in Netsuite, SAGE, Excel, and P2P systems.
- Exceptional communication skills, both on the phone and via email.
- Must be comfortable managing a large volume of transactions.
- Must be comfortable with making phone calls to customers.
- Willing to undertake various tasks and collaborate effectively with the team.
- Innovative mindset with a commitment to continuously improving processes and systems.
- In-depth understanding of the accounts payable function.
- Meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a practical approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
