About the Opportunity

Our Partner is an Australia-based business with a growing finance function supporting multiple entities. They are looking for a Finance Officer with hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) to support their CFO and Financial Controller in maintaining accurate financial operations and driving efficient finance workflows.


This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, systems-savvy, and comfortable managing recurring finance processes within a high-performing remote team.

Responsibilities

What Success Looks Like

In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring smooth day-to-day financial operations. Your responsibilities will include:


ERP & Systems Management

  • Operate and manage financial workflows in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O)
  • Set up vendors and customers, process invoices, and create payment batches
  • Post journal entries including payroll uploads, accruals, prepayments, and depreciation
  • Maintain financial data accuracy and support improvements to finance system processes and SOPs

Core Finance & Bookkeeping

  • Manage Accounts Payable, including invoice processing, approval coordination, and remittance advice
  • Support Accounts Receivable, including payment reconciliation and AR reporting
  • Assist with payroll support, including timesheet validation, pay run preparation, and payroll journal posting
  • Perform bank reconciliations and transaction coding
  • Support monthly and quarterly closing activities, including balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting support

Requirements

What You Bring

We're looking for someone who combines strong accounting fundamentals with hands-on ERP experience.

  • Proven experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) (required)
  • A minimum of 6 months of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) is required.
  • Experience in accounts payable, bookkeeping, and financial reconciliations
  • A minimum of 3+ years of accounts payable experience is required.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including working with large datasets
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in financial processes
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Experience supporting remote finance teams or cross-border operations is a plus
