They support well‑known retail and eCommerce brands by offering full‑service expertise in eCommerce development (Shopify Plus, Adobe Commerce, BigCommerce), CRM, marketing automation & lifecycle marketing, UX/UI, CRO & customer experience, Digital marketing & SEO, and data & analytics.

About the Opportunity

They are hiring for a CRM Specialist with hands-on, technical experience focused on implementing high-quality lifecycle programs, primarily within Klaviyo and Dot Digital, including customer journeys, email/SMS flows, segmentation, and platform integrations. You’ll build, configure, test, and maintain CRM assets, support ESP migrations, enforce naming conventions and platform hygiene, and coordinate data and event integrations across eCommerce stacks.

This role prioritises precise implementation and technical delivery that consistently drives strong engagement and commercial outcomes for client programs. After an initial onboarding period, this is a self-sufficient production role, expected to independently scope, build, QA, and deliver CRM work to a client-ready standard, on time and with minimal day-to-day supervision. The CRM Specialist will be expected to independently manage a defined set of CRM workstreams from brief through to deployment.

Responsibilities

CRM Build & Implementation

  • Build email and SMS flows in Klaviyo and DotDigital using briefs or templates (including triggers, filters, splits, delays, and logic).
  • Create and maintain smart segments based on behaviour, lifecycle stage, purchase history, and engagement.
  • Schedule and send one‑time campaigns, ensuring the correct audience, safeguards, and sending rules.

Success looks like:

  • Flows and campaigns are client‑ready (correct audiences, links, tracking, fallbacks, and fully tested).
  • Standard tasks (BAU campaigns, simple flows) are delivered on time and with high quality.
  • You independently manage multiple CRM briefs without needing frequent follow‑ups.
  • Segments stay accurate, auto‑refreshing, and mapped to the right use‑cases.

Platform Migrations & Integrations

  • Support ESP migrations (list imports, preference centres, field mapping, and rebuilding flows).
  • Set up and validate event tracking and data syncs across platforms like Shopify, Magento, BigCommerce.

Success looks like:

  • Work meets the definition of done and passes the CRM QA checklist before review.
  • Rework is rare (no missed audience filters, broken links, missing tracking).
  • Migration cutovers happen with no data loss, and key automations keep working correctly.
  • Events, profiles, and custom fields map and populate cleanly.

Quality Assurance & Governance

  • QA flows for correct behaviour, tagging, and attribution; monitor post-launch performance and fix issues quickly.
  • Apply proper naming conventions, folder structures, and maintain clear documentation.

Success looks like:

  • Zero critical errors after deployment.
  • Documentation and structure make assets easy to find and reuse.

Collaboration & Delivery Operations

  • Support integration testing across eCommerce platforms with cross‑functional teams.
  • Use Overdose delivery routines (briefs, checklists, QA runs, status updates) for smooth and transparent execution.

Success looks like:

  • You set realistic timelines, communicate risks early, and adjust priorities when needed.
  • Smooth handoffs between teams thanks to consistent updates and documentation.
  • Quality and speed improve over time through reusable patterns and checklists.

Requirements

  • Valid Klaviyo certifications in at least three of the following: Product Certificate, SMS Certificate, Sales Certificate, and onboard a new client to Klaviyo.
  • 2+ years of hands‑on Klaviyo experience implementing flows, campaigns, and segments at pace and scale.
  • 1+ years of hands‑on Dot Digital experience implementing flows, campaigns, and segments at pace and scale.
  • Strong technical understanding of flow architecture, including branching, delays, conditional splits, skip paths, and trigger filters.
  • Proven experience migrating clients from legacy ESPs to Klaviyo with compliance, data integrity, and performance continuity.
  • Familiarity with eCommerce platforms like Shopify, Magento, or BigCommerce and common event/data models used for lifecycle marketing.
  • Strong understanding of the end-to-end ecommerce customer journey, including all key touchpoints across acquisition, conversion, post-purchase, retention, and re-engagement.
  • A clear understanding of behavioural data from each stage informs segmentation, personalization, and lifecycle automation strategies that drive revenue and long-term customer value.
  • High attention to detail, strong ownership and autonomy, and excellent written communication for collaboration with internal teams and clients.
  • Proactive problem‑solver who uses documentation, QA checklists, and internal resources to self‑unblock before escalating, especially when facing blockers that could impact quality or timelines.
  • Ability to manage multiple client accounts and concurrent briefs, consistently meeting agreed deadlines and maintaining quality without needing frequent follow‑ups or reminders.

Nice‑to‑have:

  • Experience with Klaviyo SMS and transactional messaging.
  • Exposure to customer journey mapping, retention strategy, and loyalty programs.
  • Prior experience in an agency environment.
  • Client facing experience.
