Webflow Expert (Design & Development)

About the Opportunity

Our Partner is a brand-led digital transformation agency that helps growing companies reposition, rebuild, and scale through strategic branding, digital design, and ongoing creative support.

They are looking for an exceptional Webflow Specialist to lead the design and development of high-performing digital experiences. You’ll partner closely with their strategy, design, and project teams to translate brand thinking into beautifully executed, technically robust websites.

This role will be supporting their Auckland (NZ) studio, ideal for someone who operates confidently at the intersection of UX strategy, refined UI design, and expert-level Webflow development. You care about structure, performance, and craft, and you know how to turn considered design into scalable digital systems.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading the UX and UI design of our partner's client websites from concept through to launch
• Architecting CMS structures that support scalability and ease of client use
• Building clean, responsive, high-performance websites in Webflow
• Collaborating with strategists to translate brand positioning into compelling digital experiences
• Partnering with project managers to scope, plan, and deliver projects on time and on budget
• Implementing performance best practices and ensuring sites meet technical standards
• Supporting post-launch optimisation and ongoing website improvements
• Contributing to proposals and pitches where digital capability plays a key role

About You

You’re a true digital all-rounder with agency experience and deep expertise in Webflow.

You bring:

• Proven experience designing and developing custom websites within Webflow
• Strong UX and information architecture skills, with the ability to design complete digital journeys — not just individual pages
• Refined UI design capability with a strong eye for typography, layout, and interaction
• Advanced Webflow knowledge, including CMS architecture, reusable components, responsive systems, and clean class structure
• Confidence in translating Figma designs into production-ready builds without compromising quality
• A strong understanding of performance optimisation, SEO fundamentals, and accessibility best practices
• The ability to collaborate seamlessly with brand strategists, designers, and project managers
• A solutions-focused mindset and pride in delivering work that is both creatively excellent and commercially effective

Ideally, You’ll Also Have:

• 5+ years’ experience in digital design and front-end development, with deep expertise in Webflow
• A strong portfolio demonstrating both visual design excellence and technical Webflow execution
• Experience building scalable, responsive, and high-performing websites with clean, maintainable Webflow structures
• Confidence working with integrations (forms, analytics, automation tools, third-party embeds)
• The ability to work autonomously from concept through launch with minimal direction
• Experience with animation and interaction design within Webflow (e.g. Lottie, GSAP, native Webflow interactions)
• Experience working in a creative or digital agency environment
• Comfort working in Figma for design collaboration and in Webflow for production
• Familiarity with AI tools and MCPs, and integrating them across the stack
• Experience integrating third-party tools (analytics, forms, CMS APIs) into Webflow
