We are seeking a detail-oriented SEO Specialist to join our client’s growing digital team. This role is focused on assisting the SEO Manager in executing the e-commerce roadmap, helping drive organic growth across client websites. The ideal candidate is highly organized, able to follow instructions and templates, and can adapt to the client's way of working. Being present, contactable, and active online is critical due to location differences.

Responsibilities

Execution of E-commerce SEO Roadmap

  • Assist the SEO Manager in executing the weekly delegated SEO tasks and projects.
  • Ensure all assigned tasks are completed within the week (within reason) and follow provided templates.
  • Implement SEO best practices for e-commerce websites, including on-page optimization and content creation.

Content Production & Optimization

  • Produce and optimize e-commerce content such as product descriptions, category content, and blog content.
  • Optimize onsite elements of a page, including title tags, H1s, content, internal links, and URL structures.
  • Conduct keyword research and map keywords to the appropriate page type based on intent (e.g., blog vs. category).

SEO Tools & Analysis

  • Use tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, ChatGPT, Google Sheets/Excel, Google Docs/Word Doc to support SEO tasks.
  • Monitor performance metrics and provide updates to the SEO Manager as required.
  • Bonus: experience with People Also Asked, Claude, Gemini.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Maintain clear and timely communication with the SEO Manager and internal teams.
  • Follow instructions carefully while proactively asking for clarification when needed.

Continuous Improvement

  • Keep up to date with e-commerce SEO trends, content optimization strategies, and emerging tools.
  • Adopt AI tools and other technologies to improve workflows and results.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years SEO experience, with a strong focus on e-commerce SEO.
  • Proven ability to produce and optimize e-commerce content.
  • Strong understanding of on-page optimization, keyword intent, and mapping keywords to the correct page type.
  • Proficiency with SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, ChatGPT, Google Sheets/Excel, Google Docs/Word Doc.
  • Ability to follow templates and instructions while adapting to team workflows.
  • Excellent communication skills, highly organized, and attentive to detail.
  • Proactive, reliable, and consistently available online.


Preferred / Bonus Skills

  • Experience with technical SEO (a plus, not required).
  • Familiarity with tools such as People Also Asked, Claude, Gemini.
