About the Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented SEO Specialist to join our client’s growing digital team. This role is focused on supporting the SEO Manager in executing the e-commerce SEO roadmap and driving organic growth across client websites.


The ideal candidate is highly organized, able to follow instructions and templates, and can adapt to our Partner's way of working. Being present, contactable, and actively online is a critical part of this role due to location and time zone differences.

Responsibilities

What Success Looks Like

E-commerce SEO Execution

  • Assist the SEO Manager in executing weekly delegated SEO tasks aligned to the e-commerce roadmap.
  • Complete assigned tasks within the expected weekly timeframes (within reason).
  • Follow provided instructions, templates, and processes while adapting to established workflows.
  • Implement SEO best practices specifically for e-commerce websites.

Content Production & On-Page Optimisation

  • Produce and optimise e-commerce content including product descriptions, category pages, and blog content.
  • Optimise on-page elements such as title tags, H1s, body content, internal linking, and URL structures.
  • Conduct keyword research and map keywords to the correct page type based on intent (e.g. blog content vs category pages).
  • Apply a strong understanding of helpful content guidelines to ensure content quality and relevance.
  • Use AI tools safely and effectively to support SEO and content production.

SEO Tools & Analysis

  • Use SEO tools to support execution and analysis, including:
    • SEMrush
    • Ahrefs
    • Screaming Frog
    • ChatGPT
    • Google Sheets / Excel
    • Google Docs / Word
  • Track progress and provide updates to the SEO Manager as required.
  • Bonus: experience using People Also Asked, Claude, or Gemini.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Maintain clear, consistent, and timely communication with the SEO Manager and wider team.
  • Be reliably online, responsive, and available during working hours.
  • Follow instructions carefully while proactively asking questions when clarification is needed.

Continuous Improvement

  • Stay up to date with e-commerce SEO trends, content best practices, and industry changes.
  • Continue developing skills in AI-assisted SEO workflows and emerging tools.

Requirements

What You Bring

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in SEO, with strong e-commerce experience (mandatory).
  • Proven experience producing and optimising e-commerce content (products, categories, blogs).
  • Strong understanding of:
    • On-page SEO fundamentals
    • Keyword research and keyword intent
    • Mapping keywords to the correct page type
  • Technical SEO knowledge is not required (but considered a plus if present).
  • Proficiency with:
    • SEMrush
    • Ahrefs
    • Screaming Frog
    • ChatGPT
    • Google Sheets / Excel
    • Google Docs / Word
  • Ability to follow instructions, templates, and structured processes.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and reliable.
  • Strong communication skills and consistently available online.


Preferred / Bonus Skills

  • Exposure to technical SEO (not essential).
  • Experience with People Also Asked, Claude, or Gemini.
