We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager with proven expertise in selling offshoring and outsourcing services for BPO companies. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of building client relationships, understanding complex business needs, and successfully closing SME and enterprise-level deals in the offshore services sector.

Responsibilities

Sales & Revenue Generation

  • Drive new business acquisition for offshoring services across multiple verticals
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets
  • Identify and pursue high-value prospects in target markets and industries
  • Manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from initial contact to contract closure
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and service level agreements with enterprise clients

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives and key decision makers
  • Conduct compelling presentations and demonstrations of offshoring capabilities
  • Understand client pain points and translate them into tailored service solutions
  • Serve as primary point of contact for strategic accounts throughout the sales process
  • Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and transition

Market Development & Strategy

  • Research and analyze market trends in offshoring and outsourcing industries
  • Identify new market opportunities and develop go-to-market strategies
  • Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking activities
  • Develop competitive intelligence and positioning strategies
  • Create and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects

Partnership & Collaboration

  • Work closely with marketing teams to develop sales collateral and campaign strategies
  • Collaborate with technical teams to design service offerings that meet client requirements
  • Partner with delivery managers to ensure accurate project scoping and pricing
  • Coordinate with legal and contracts teams for proposal development and negotiations

Requirements

Industry Experience

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience specifically in offshoring or outsourcing services
  • Proven track record of selling business process outsourcing, professional services, or offshore operations
  • Deep understanding of offshore delivery models and global service delivery
  • Experience with various offshoring solutions across multiple business functions

Sales Expertise

  • Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas consistently
  • Expertise in consultative selling and solution-based sales approaches
  • Experience with CRM systems and sales pipeline management

Professional Skills

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for C-level audiences
  • Strong negotiation and contract management capabilities
  • Ability to understand business processes and translate them into service value propositions
  • Cross-cultural communication skills for working with global teams


Preferred Qualifications

Advanced Experience

  • Experience selling to SME and enterprise-level clients
  • Background in business consulting or professional services
  • Knowledge of various offshore service categories and delivery models
  • Experience with nearshoring, onshoring, or hybrid delivery models
  • Previous experience managing international client relationships

Technical Knowledge

  • Understanding of business process optimization and operational efficiency
  • Familiarity with quality management and service delivery frameworks
  • Knowledge of data security, compliance, and regulatory requirements
  • Experience with various pricing models (fixed price, FTE-based, outcome-based)
